Getting a lab report should be simple. A lab needs to register an order, enter or upload results, check them, and send them to the right person. A patient needs to find the report later, understand the basics, and share it with a doctor when it matters.

TibbSync is designed for small laboratories that want practical software without a complicated setup. The dashboard follows the work already happening at a lab:

1. Register an order. Add the patient, the requested tests, prices, and any discount.
2. Fill the report. Upload a report or enter structured results for tests that use fields and reference ranges.
3. Verify it. A staff member with verification access can review the completed report before it is released.
4. Send it. Deliver the report to the chosen patient or guardian contact, with a manual WhatsApp option when that is how the lab works.

Each stage has its own queue, so staff can see what still needs filling, what is waiting for verification, and what is ready to send. The aim is to reduce missed handoffs without forcing a lab to redesign how it operates.

A catalog that belongs to the lab

Labs can build their own test catalog with prices, discounts, turnaround times, instructions, and categories. For structured reports, a test can include the fields that should appear on the result and age- or gender-specific reference ranges. A lab can also start from a prebuilt report definition and tailor it to its own workflow.

Prices and report definitions change. TibbSync records meaningful catalog changes in Recent Activity, including the staff account that made the change and the before-and-after values. That gives the lab a practical answer when someone asks what changed.

Staff access without giving everyone every permission

Different people do different jobs. A receptionist may need to create orders. A technician may need to fill reports. A senior reviewer may need to verify them. TibbSync lets a lab give staff only the permissions they need, including separate access for report viewing, verification, sending, catalog management, expenses, and settings.

Important actions are recorded in Recent Activity. This includes report workflow changes as well as staff-account changes, test edits, expenses, API keys, report-doctor changes, and security settings. It is an audit trail for the lab, not another complicated screen to maintain.

Business details that stay close to the work

Labs can track operating expenses, manage report-signing doctors, set up referral doctors and commission rules, and review referral cost separately in their statistics. The goal is not to turn a lab into an accounting department. It is to make the numbers that affect day-to-day decisions easier to find.

For patients: keep your reports where you can find them

For patients, TibbSync is a place to receive and keep reports from participating labs. When a report arrives, the patient can confirm that it belongs to them and view it later from the same account. This is especially useful when a doctor asks for an older result and the paper copy is gone.

Patients can also manage records for dependants, such as children or parents, while keeping access visible and controllable. If a dependant later has their own account, they can take control of their records and review or revoke another account's access.

TibbSync does not diagnose medical conditions. A report value needs to be considered alongside symptoms, medical history, and a clinician's judgment. The app is there to make the information easier to keep, retrieve, and share with the people involved in care.
